SMCC Mission = Tomorrow's climbing in SW Montana

Our Mission can be is summed up in a few goals:

(1) Becoming involved in issues pertaining to access to climbing areas;

(2) Providing a forum for positive communications and relations between climbers, land managers, landowners, and other land users;

(3) Education and outreach to land managers, landowners, and the non-climbing public about matters of concern to the local climbing community

(4) Informing and educating the climbing community about local climbing issues;

(5) Promoting climbing safety in Southwest Montana;

(6) Organizing and promoting trail improvement and maintenance, erosion control, and resource conservation projects.
